Time LapseTime lapse is when pictures are taken over a long period of time for example this is a video of a man called Christoph Rehage, he walked across china. It took him one year and he traveled 4500km. For the hole year he didn't shave, each day he took a picture of himself everyday, so that we could see the change each day.
Over the next few weeks we will be making our own time lapse videos. |

Time lapse is another way to shorten down or seed time up. You can fit 24 hours into 3 minutes. People use time lapse to show things that are happening over a long period of time and makes them able to watch in a couple of minuets and so that the effect is easier to see.

This is our class time lapse video, that we made in the first hour of one of our lessons. We made this by a DSLR on a tripod at the end of the room and a Neewer timer shooting every 10 seconds and animating at 12 frames per second. Time lapse makes a long period of time seem short. For example, we made a one hour lesson into 33 seconds making it look like the subjects were moving as though in a video when really it was multiple images attached together.
